
Managing Principal
Michael Beauregard
Michael is the founder and managing partner of SCS. He started his career advocating for people with disabilities and organizing local campaigns. Along the way, he has organized statewide summits, led marketing and public relations campaigns, and raised hundreds of thousands in direct contributions, and hundreds of millions in increased state spending. In addition to leading SCS's client strategy, Michael has a deep background in communications data systems and using public and private data to make compelling arguments and targeted programs and campaigns. Michael was a co-founder of Cranston Forward and serves on the Board of Directors of The Public's Radio.

Project Director
Anne Geertman
Anne is the project director of SCS. In her role, she leads SCS's project management team to ensure client projects are efficiently planned and implemented. Anne brings a wealth of innovative and creative problem-solving approaches to her practice having worked in a number of industries over her career. Anne’s expertise in management, public policy, legislative advocacy, grassroots organizing, and political campaign strategy helps clients tackle the challenges facing their own organizations and the communities they serve. Anne’s passion for project success is rooted in her belief that mission-driven organizations and causes have the power to transform lives. She has served as the project manager for winning legislative campaigns, led strategic planning processes, and managed operations of multiple firms in different sectors.
Growing up in Seoul, South Korea but with deep familial roots in Rhode Island, Anne brings a unique blend of global and local perspectives to SCS clients and their endeavors.

Communications Director
Joseph Hassan
Joseph serves as the communications director of SCS. He is a communications strategist with a background in public relations and media relations, which he has handled for national public health agencies, pharmaceutical companies, consumer goods manufacturers and non-profit organizations. He enjoys helping teams uncover compelling narratives and messages that serve as the basis for communications campaigns that inspire individuals and communities to take action. Joseph’s approach to strategic communications has been shaped by working alongside a wide range of subject-matter experts over the years—from clinical researchers developing groundbreaking HIV/AIDS treatments to astronauts and Academy-Award winning actors. He has a passion for pairing data with creativity to develop campaigns that are authentic, engaging and effective.

Creative Director
Paula Taluru
Paula is a multidisciplinary creative with almost ten years of experience in visual communication, design, and digital marketing. Paula is passionate about designing and leading creative executions for brands and companies. Her designs were displayed throughout Rhode Island, part of multi-state campaigns, and received awards. She is also an experienced digital marketer and has led many successful campaigns that have generated millions of impressions and engagements and thousands of dollars raised for clients.

Operations Manager
Illianes Vannessa Ramirez
Illianes is an innovative, creative and resourceful leader who builds the foundational systems, processes and features needed for business operations to flourish and meet client needs for decades to come. She has seven years of experience working as a business and product manager for various nonprofits and small businesses. Illianes completed coursework at the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico but prides herself on her ability to learn anything; working her way up the ranks in business development with little credit to her baccalaureate education. At SCS, she works closely with the team to strategize and develop long-term plans that usher in new levels of productivity and success for the company.

Project Manager
Meara Levezow
Meara is a project manager at SCS with a particular interest in harm reduction and public health. She is skilled in facilitation, community engagement, comprehensive project management and communications strategy. She received an MSW from Hunter College with a focus on social welfare policy and community organizing, planning, and development. Originally from Wisconsin, she moved to Providence after living in NYC for 16 years and currently lives on the East Side with her wife and cats. Meara is on the communications team for Showing Up for Racial Justice RI.

Project Manager
Lauren Call
Lauren coordinates and oversees the big picture and daily operations of campaigns, producing tangible results while making a positive impact. Lauren is experienced in the fields of labor relations, employee benefits, and political campaigns.
Lauren received her B.A. in Political Science and M.A. in International Relations from the University of Rhode Island.
